No doubt if you want to lead a healthier lifestyle you are going to have to keep eating out at restaurants to a bare minimum. But what happens if you are like me and absolutely loathe cooking?
If you hate cooking as much as I do, then you avoid it at all costs unless absolutely necessary. It doesn’t work in your favor though, eventually you get starving and eat like trash. Most people who hate cooking like yours truly, hate it because of the time consumption and preparation. However, there are a few ways that you can make cooking time short, sweet and most importantly healthy:
There are a few things I love about this amazing gift from heaven above:
Don’t want to get an air fryer? Well, whatever you do find some tool even if it is your microwave or a crock pot that will make cooking easy and less time consuming for you.
At some point you will have days where you will have to put some time and effort in especially if you have a family; if you are single, then you likely will not have to spend much time at all, I envy you :- (.
Kinetic Jars are absolutely awesome, I have used them for everything from homemade baby food for my daughter to overnight oats for me. The day you set aside to do the cooking in bulk will not be fun, but throughout the week you will be happy that you did it. All you will have to do is simply reach in the fridge, enjoy and eat.
Portion controlled meal plates can also be purchased from Amazon for cooking meals ahead of time. There pretty sweet too.
Overnight oats are the truth. I had a session with a nutritionist who taught me about this one. Once you are in the swing of things, I swear they take no more than 5 minutes of prep work if even that so there is no excuse for you not to have a healthy breakfast in the morning. Do your research and find more recipes like this that will take the time spent out of cooking.
Of course fresh is always best. When that fails try purchasing frozen fruits and vegetables. That way you don’t waste your money on your fresh fruits constantly going bad. Your staples like apples and oranges take a while before they rot, but blueberries, strawberries and bananas take no time at all before they are no good. So if you find this keeps happening to you buy them in frozen bags instead.
